      2nd day of owning,battery dead.Said cuz I left trailer plugged in.7th day battery dead and engine light on.Service checked and found no issue.On way home radio comes on and off,auto stop not working,skipping badly.They replaced a burnt wire.Back at shop now for 9 days ,found nothing wrong.Between wife and I have had chevys for 40 years all high end.This will be 17 days in shop out of owning it for 35.....sick about it.…

      Major improvements for 2019!

      I traded up from a 2017 (which was already a great truck!) to a 2019 and wow what an improvement! I have the 5.3 with 8 speed tranny, which is smooth shifting, super quiet ride, etc, etc. Chevy as the controls and buttons all figured out nicely for easy of use. The backseat of this crew cab is even bigger than the previous model; its so big the kids can almost play football back there. Definitely another great value from Chevy. Minor irksome points include the goofy tilt/telescoping steering wheel. The previous model had a simply stalk that allowed easy up/down but the 2019 uses a goofball 'Japanese style' system, which is ery annoying and cumbersome to use. Also missing the ashtray (not for smoking but for storing small items like trailer keys, chapstick, and stuff). Also, they took away the third cup holder in the front/center, which is also annoying since I always have two different drinks while my passenger also has her own. But everything else is awesome and absolutely love this truck!…

      FADA is aware that an individual in South Florida has filed numerous suits claiming that the chat feature on a dealer's website violates Florida's Security of Communications Act (section 934.01). The basis of the claim is that chat users are not informed that their chat may be recorded/maintained by the dealer. While our lawyers do not believe this violates Florida law and have moved to dismiss many of these suits, there is an easy way to protect against these types of claims. If you use a third-party vendor they undoubtedly place a link to their terms and conditions in the chat box. Our lawyers believe this is sufficient to meet any disclosure requirements. However, in an abundance of caution, FADA suggests that you add the following type of disclaimer to your chat box:

      • As ComplyAuto has discussed on several occasions, the CDK cyber incident could trigger, among other duties, the obligation for affected dealers to notify the FTC regarding the incident under the federal Safeguards Rule. Yesterday, it was announced that the FTC and CDK have agreed that should CDK's internal investigation reveal that a notice is required, that CDK will issue one omnibus notice to the FTC covering the incident, and that notice would relieve each CDK dealer's obligation to independently notify the FTC. Indeed, according to NADA, the FTC has stated that "dealers have no obligation to file a breach notification with the FTC related to this matter." Read more about what this means for dealers here.
